Above and Beyond: Staff member meets and greets you in the parking lot. Staff member meets you on 18 and cleans your clubs. Staff member at the bar, upon request, provides a “flight” of beers, to top off my day. Every staff member treats me like the most valuable person they met that day… who are you Chick Fil A? why whiskey, Great course, better staff, and your military discount is appreciated. Brought 3 other guys, two for the first time.. and they WILL be back.
We hosted an event at Whiskey Creek last week and everything about it was top notch. The course, every staff member, the food and drinks – EVERYTHING was flawless and made for a great event. Scott is the best in the business and did a fantastic job setting everything up and executing on the day of the event. I can’t recommend this place enough!
Whiskey is my favorite course in MD! Nothing compares. Every visit is consistent, the staff is always helpful and courteous. Food is always good! The course is always in incredible shape. The staff was able to keep the fairways clean and free of leaves which is a big undertaking this time of year. Every time I pull into the property I get a sense of calm mixed with excitement. Well done, Whiskey, well done!
It’s a difficult course (especially for women), but beautiful scenery and interesting holes.

Good service, great conditions and I received an email the day before alerting me to a potential frost delay. That was really appreciated and allowed our group to plan on it.

I played with my low-handicap teenage son (I’m of a higher handicap), and it was our first time there. We both loved the layout of the course and the condition, and we will be back. I’ve already told my oldest son about it, and next time he’s coming with us.
My wife and I hadn’t played here in years and I forgot what a fantastic course this is. One of my new favorites! We can’t wait to play again and we will bring our friends!
We had a spectacular round. Everyone was helpful and friendly from the moment we walked into the pro shop. We have spoken highly of this round to many already, and will plan to come back soon!
We (my sons and I) really enjoyed the whole experience. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly. The course was tough but not so tough we couldn’t have fun. We will definitely be back.
I find it hard to find ANYTHING that can enhance the experience – from the person delivering our cart on the parking lot to the support from the golf shop people, to the bar/restaurant, the person exchanging our cart mid course (due to low battery level), to the fantastic starter, every aspect of our golf round was 100%. (Now, we just wished we played better but we’ll do that next time we are in the area).
The scenery, the condition, the staff, everything was wonderful. I have played in many different courses in the DMV area and there’s not a single one that comes close to the experience you get by visiting Whiskey Creek. The 50+ min trip is not worth anywhere else.
Everyone that I interacted with was extremely helpful from the time our group arrived through the time we left. The food and service was outstanding. The course was in excellent shape and we had a great time playing it.

The course is FANTASTIC. We are coming back in September. Even though the greens were recently micro-punched the rolled very good (Excellent Job!). The course design is amazing, I could play there weekly if you weren’t 3 hours away. My buddy carried the ruins on 18 but from the white tees. When we come back we’ll play the blue tees. The staff are very professional. Everyone we had the pleasure of meeting knew how to make you feel welcome and treated us with respect. The food was delicious. My breakfast bagel sandwich was the best ever and I couldn’t finish it all . I took a chance on lunch and got the chipoltie ham wrap. I was hesitant but it was delicious and my new go to wrap!!! See you again soon!
We had a great experience golfing at Whiskey Creek. We had a couple of extended family members with us visiting from PA and they really enjoyed their time. The pace was steady thanks to the Marshall who continually checked on us to make sure everything was going great. Thank you.
The course is always in great condition and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I play on Thursday mornings with a group of seniors from the Towson area and we all agree that Whiskey Creek is our favorite course.

I’ve played many courses- this is one of my absolute favorites. I’ve traveled to play WC from the island of Curacao & now from Tampa and would easily do it again.

This was my first visit to the course. ALL employees were extremely welcoming and helpful in providing information about each step. The proshop gentleman greeted and provided excellent service. The starter provided course rules in a professional manner and excellent advice for someone’s first time. I would highly recommend this course for all levels of play. The course was in excellent condition, clean and well groomed.
Every detail was superb… from the signin, to the starter, to the course, the restaurant, bartender, waitresses, food. A great experience, and I’ll definitely be back.
I honestly think you guys have one of the nicest maintained courses around. I wouldn’t change a thing. The restaurant always serves great food and all the personnel are very nice and friendly.
Absolutely nothing. My dad was visiting from South Africa and we both thoroughly enjoyed our day. We had to rent clubs for my dad (a left handed set). The staff were extremely helpful and the set provided were excellent – this was our first round of golf together in over 3 years and o cannot thank Whiskey Creek enough for making it memorable!

Course was in great shape. Great weekday rate for the quality of the course. Staff was friendly. Starter checked in on us periodically throughout the round to make sure we didn’t need anything / was askingus how the round was going / very personable.

Perfect experience. One of the best tracks in the area. The course was in great condition and the bartenders were engaging on cart and in house.

This was my first visit to Whiskey Creek and I had an absolute blast. The course was in too condition and I enjoyed the GPS functionality that was equipped on the golf carts. I will certainly return with family and friends for more great rounds.
Mike and team were awesome as always. The sausage egg and cheese was absolutely fire and they had the open on every TV in the place. The course was absolute perfection.
This course if is not the best, is definitely one of the best Public courses in the whole DMV area. Layouts, conditions, technology, customer service, scenery, etc… everything is very well taken care of. Definitely recommend this course to anybody.
Pretty much the perfect golf experience. Maybe move that barn foundation from the middle of the 18th fairway, I hit it, LOL, just joking of course. Great place and even better staff. I’m from the Pittsburgh area but will definitely be back and bring friends. Keep up the good work.

I have been wanting to play Whiskey Creek for a long time now and had some high expectations for the course. I am so happy that these expectations were met. I am really looking forward to playing again soon.

The grounds crew was mowing the rough and around the greens on five of the final 6 holes in a very disturbing and disruptive manner. At the rates you charge, I expect more courtesy.
The experience was great from the parking lot to the 19th tee. Felt beyond a normal public course. The course conditions were great and the staff was helpful.
It was my first time there and it was better than anything I imagined. I play a lot of courses in my area, and some while on vacation and whisky was best by far. From the cart service as soon as you pull up, the welcoming pro shop, the exceptional breakfast sandwiches and lunch. Even to the Marshalls making sure people were up to speed. Green conditions were great and the speed of the greens was fun. I am 2 hours and change away, but will make it at the least a Father’s Day tradition each year.
Great experience. The course is top shelf. The practice range and putting green were perfect. Hosted a small Father’s Day outing for some buddies. We loved golf as well as dinner afterward in the bar/restaurant. A+.
Our group of 2 foursomes had a wonderful time. The course was in excellent condition and the staff welcoming and professional. We are a group of seniors who golf weekly at courses over the Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware area and Whiskey is always one of if not our favorite course we play.

From the Cart Boys, Pro Shop, Starter, Rangers and Cart Girl .. Customer Service and Instructions were excellent and to the point. Pace of Play was excellent. Course was in great shape and with the amount of rain there was that week it drained very well. It was honestly he best Golf Experience I have had playing a new course to me in the past 5 years. 10 out of 10 would recommend to a friend.
This is by far the nicest golf experience, start to finish, of the 25 courses we play in the Washington metro area. The course is so beautiful, well maintained; the carts great; the starter and pro shop personnel engaging and understated. Our lunch after the round was tasty and reasonably priced, as was the price of playing as 4 seniors. PLEASE don’t fiddle with such a terrific product which you offer us!
I can’t think of anything that needs to be improved. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming and the course conditions were excellent. It doesn’t get better than that.
Easily one of the best golf experiences that we have are when we visit Whiskey Creek. Your entire staff does an amazing job and are always respectful to the customer base. Rates are a bit high, but we also know what type of day we will have when we play.
I truthfully don’t know if i have any suggestions on improvement. This was by far the nicest course me and my friends have played to date. We traveled two hours to play your course and would gladly do it again. I’ve never spent more than like $75 on a round of golf, I know now why I did. 100% worth it when you compare the course, the conditions, the staff. Also, the frost delay that morning was a bummer but was handled perfectly. I believe it was Bo, the starter. Great guy and only name I think I can recall correctly, mainly because he was the only one we really spoke too. Overall, great club. We’d love to come back one day.

Everything was amazing. From the cart being brought to outlet car upon arriving, to the friendly pro shop, lodge employees and starter, it was an experience to remember. The course played beautifully and it was one of the best rounds I’ve gotten the chance to play. We stayed afterwards to drink a beer and soak in the incredible views as well.
This is hands down my favorite course in the DMV. Every chance I get to play it I fall more in love with it. Everything about the course and the experience is awesome.

The course conditions were immaculate with well groomed greens and fairways throughout. The service provided both by the caddies and club house staff was incredible and made the experience unforgettable. Pace of play was managed extraordinarily well and the round was flat-out flawless. I see no ways for the course to improve and will certainly will be returning soon for another round!

Always have a consistent experience at Whiskey Creek. The staff is very nice and professional and they always treat the patrons with respect. I always love coming back to Whiskey Creek be of it. I live an hour and a half away and don’t mind the drive knowing I will be taken care of.
Great course!! All the staff were great, especially Sam at the pro shop. The starter that was working that morning was awesome too, being it was my first time playing there he said I think you’re gonna like it and I did!!
This was our 1st visit to the course and our party of 8 really enjoyed it. The course was in great shape and the greens were really nice. It was also appreciated that there was also water on all of the par 3s since the heat index was over 100 that day. The staff in the restaurant/bar area were very pleasant. We didn’t eat anything at the course due to having dinner reservations at another restaurant in Timonium since it was on our way home to York PA. Would absolutely play again in the future.
